Day 1: Fat Ninja Challenge
5 Day Fitness Challenge!!!
Hiking/Kayaking Adventure!
Babyface
Well the time finally came!! I weighed in this friday(week 7) at 197.4! Below 200lbs. You know what that means?!? Yup. The beard had to go bye bye!
So Friday night I buzzed it off! I feel naked now! It is definitely a weird feeling. I had been growing the beard for at least 8 months and haven’t been clean shaven for probably over a year! It won’t last long though. I like to keep the short scruffy facial hair.
Well on to the next goal! 185lbs I will see you soon!
BYE BYE Beard Contest/Giveaway!!
I thought Id have a little fun with this!! I should definitely be reaching my first goal of getting under 200lbs by the end of this week. You know what that means?! The beard goes bye bye. So I thought I’d do a little contest! The winner will get a Fat Ninja Fitness Tshirt! All you have to do is guess how much my beard weighs!! Whoever is closest with their guess will win the Tshirt! Just comment on any of the following with your guess: my blog, youtube, instagram, facebook.
GOOD LUCK!!
Father’s Day Hike!
Learning To Jump Rope
Watch me try to learn to jump rope for my fitness/weight loss journey.
Well I gave it a go today! I want to learn to jump rope! Like all the cool tricks and stuff. Today was the start of my jump rope training. I’ll do more videos to track my progress. Jump rope is an excellent cardio exercise for losing weight!
I started with just jumping without the rope. Then swinging the rope to the site to try to get the rhythm. Next I did one single jump over and over. Then I graduated to doing 3 consecutive jumps. Once I felt like I got the hang of it I decided to go for 50 in a row. To my surprise I nailed it the first try. I couldn’t recreate it thought! haha! I found myself jumping too high to make up for my lack of timing. I imagine that’ll get better with practice! On to the next time!
Meal Prep: Buffalo Chicken w/ Blue Cheese Quinoa
So tonight I tackled some meal prep fro lunches this week. I went with buffalo chicken with blue cheese quinoa.
It came out pretty good! I ate the leftovers for dinner tonight. I try to make healthy version of things I like. And I LOVE chicken wings! So this should help satisfy that craving. I added carrot and celery sticks on the side. We will see how it taste reheated this week! If you have any favorite meal prep recipes shoot them my way. Always looking for more ideas!
